Although I am not a Millers Laner, I have happy memories of visiting my Stevenson cousins there.They are Harold, Alan and Roy and Auntie Alice and Uncle Billoften gave me Sunday lunch when my Dad went on Sundays for his hair cut.Uncle Bill worked at Bunney's barbers for a number of years. I also went on the Labour Club trips and looked forward each year to the outings.

I recognised all the ladies - Mrs. Brooks & Mrs. Griffiths lived in the same row of houses that I did - Mrs. Griffiths & her family were next door but one & the Brooks family were next door to them.

Doris and John Wolsey were my next door nieghbours for about the last 20 yrears of their life.
