The queen's looking please with herself but the consorts are distracted, probably by their mates who were havin' a good laugh at us.

Wild guesses, Gary Dainty, Ian Price, Gary Woods, Don't know the Queen but deffo a looker,Billy Green, Norm Shawcross

Not bad for wild guesses, Stephen. I'm glad you confirmed Gary Dainty, because I wasn't 100% sure beforehand. Think he emigrated, to NZ maybe. I know he shares the same bithday as me. Its not Norm Shawcross at the end, its Brian Croft, then of 15 Heber St.. The Queen's Ann Bretherton. I used to enjoy a drink with her dad in the Swan and Railway in the early 90's. Good company. Not in the pic is Carol Hilton ( now Togher)who told me a while back that she could have been in the picture that day but opted to dance round the maypole instead.

Ah yes, I can see now that It's Brian Croft. Gary Dainty is indeed still in NZ. Had contact with him just after the earthquake and he had escaped the worst. How come you are all in long trousers? I thought it was shorts 'till big school
