ALL DRESSED UP FOR ST.NATS WALKING DAY 1949,THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN IN FRONT OF MRS.BALMERS HOUSE IN MILLERS LANE,ONE OF THE FEW TIMES WE HAD CLEAN FACES AND NO TIDE MARKS,IT TOOK MY MAM AGES TO GET US READY,I REMEMBER HER PUTTING WHITENING ON OUR PUMPS ONLY THE MORE MATURE PERSON WOULD KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT.PIC,SHOWS ME AND OUR COLIN.

Awww..what a lovely photo to cherish..Don't like to admit it.. yes I remember whitening my pumps, but they did look nice when they were dry didn't they.
