Wigan Album

This photo was taken early 1990's showing Uncle Jimmy at his beloved Highbrooks he thought there was nowhere else like it. He played there around the fields when he was a young boy probably only ever dreaming that he may one day end up living there so years later to own 7 Highbrooks made him a proud and happy man. Jimmy lived at Highbrooks for 30 years and these times were the happiest days of his life. He worked at Cranberry Lea Farm nearby he also worked on the local opencast sites around Highbrooks. Jimmy later moved on to Landgate estate.
He sadly passed away yesterday at 11am 15th May
gone but will never be forgotten Rest in Peace Uncle Jimmy xxxxx
