Great photos, I remember those steps my Granddad lived at St Catherine Terrace
I s that guy stood on what we called the blind steps, St. Catherines Spire leans badly today in 2009

Great photo. They are not the blind steps but are across the road and lead off Birkett Bank to the bottom of Holland Street and Birkett Bank Terrace. The Hawthorne Family (Christine, Ian and Alison)lived in the house on the left of the picture.
