This shows the Haigh Brewery around 1900 and apparently around the top of the arch doorway is a date 1873, which it's believed is the date of its construction.

I can see the gravestones in the foreground and the two chaps leaning on the wall, but where was this building situated?

The pub is in Copperas lane. The row of houses on the right are in Haigh Road. The brewery has been demolished, but the pub is still there.

Looking at present day maps, it seems this photo was taken from the graveyard at St Davids Church and the site of the Haigh Brewery is now a car park and where Culraven garage of Haigh is situated.

I believe the windmill in the field in Copperas Lane used to pump water to the brewery.
The windmill should have been renovated in August but nothing done i dont know why there was supposed to be money in place for it.

Its on the news section of W.W.... restoration is about to get underway. Should be worth seeing when it's done. Haigh Hall should br restored to it's former glory.
