It's taken at the bottom of Victoria road, where it meets Millers Lane. You can see the concrete fence of the 'volvo' garage and further back you can see Platt Bridge Labour Club. The builing to the left would then be the motor bike shop (it then became Safinas video shop and general store which was owned by Kaz who used to work at the glassworks). Now it's millers indian take away and kebeb shop!

They are just turning into Victoria Road from Millers Lane. The red door is where Safina's Store was... I think it is a Pizza Place now? Walkden's Garage and Labour Club in the background.

St Nat's tower is peeking over the top of the Labour Club.
