John, we more or less grew up together, I lived at no.22, Millers Lane - opposite. We were registered with your Mum for eggs during the war.

ste: I left in 1954 although my parents stayed on until my dad died in 1976. I cannot remember the name of the couple who lived at no 30, the man was a lamplighter when we had gas street lights.
