My Uncle George took a walk around Platt Bridge with his camera one day in the early 80s, the images are not great... but still worth a look. This was his regular watering hole. (and mine)

A good pub gone for sure. I know things change and the world moves on... but... I would love to sit at that bar again and drink a pint of Tetleys... and a ciggie!

Dennis, don't apologise for your Uncle's photos....the images are fine, and even if they weren't, it's the memories that matter.
my greatgrandparents the nevill family kept the platt bridge inn in the 1880 s . any got info about the nevills
