My first experience of a water slide, got to the top of
the steps,looked down and was petrified couldn't go back down the steps---so I shut my eyes and hoped for the best.
Remember it like it was yesterday.

We always used to get our first sunburn of the year there. Great memories.

Even though the picture is before I was born, this is just how I remember it. Thankyou Helen keep them coming........

Why did they get rid of this?, looked like a great place and likely cheap and not a ripoff like most swimming pools are these days. Scenes like this would never exist today because you're not allowed to take photos of your own kids having a good time swimming. What can you do these days? not much. No wonder the country's become a dictatorship with silly laws and CCTV everywhere. They have the nerve to stop us photographing our own children yet they can film us everywhere we go. It's about time we get off our backsides and stand up to this big brother intrusion and being told what we can and can't do.
