this brings back some memories bill,i remember us kids standing on that bridge waiting for a steam train to pass and the steam would engulf us all it was like being inside a cloud just some of the fun we had then.

Spent some good times here waiting for steam trains, to-day its a filthy mess, trees over-grown, beer cans and glass everywhere... very sad.

Super pic Bill. An unusual angle and what fabulous wrought-iron work. Think it probably looks as nice in railway "battleship grey" as it does in cream and burgundy as it is now, inless it has been re-painted since i was last there. Dave

Dave, the bridge got shot-blasted and painted around 1991-92, and it looked very nice in cream and burgundy, Today it's in a sorry state, vandalized by graffiti yobs.

Used to go on bridge with friends and lie down when steam train went under covering us with smoke was magical
