Criminals..the lot of 'em....what memories of a place of work...ah, the lovely old days..... good mates to work with....customers, the salt of the earth. You would have to be there to know what I mean..

This is the worse thing that ever happened to Wigan, you idiotic town planners ripped the heart out of the town! It's never been the same since. Wigan is now soul-less and cold. Not content with this atrocity Wigan MBC destroyed a beautiful Art-Deco ABC picture house to build another yet half empty temple to materialism! And still no concert hall in this philistine town centre. Surely this is not progress!

In complete agreement jefhilo. What this is, is ammunition for the Save Wigan campaign. Join now and stop any more of this pillage of our town.

wigan has never ever been the same since the old market went got my records from roy hurst my uncle jim had his toffie stall facing roy next door to santus never be the same again never go to wigan now hits a total mess

I sincerly hope that the powers that be, the ones who made the decisions to flatten out lovely town, are now awakening to what they have done to the heart of our beautiful town centre...!!!!!!
