Hello Eddie, great photo, but I think it was taken in the 50s, you all would have been in your early teens in the early 60s, our Roy looks very young, definitely not in his teens. I have another Thomas's wall photo, it's too light, faces are almost blank, so far I haven't managed to get it to where I can put it on here, will do it as soon as I can.. Hope you and Pat are well...
thanks janet, you are probaly right, 59,?perhaps, anyway sounds like you had great nostalgic "vacation",and i hope you have some really good stories for your grandchildren ,so you take care,,(i have got another L/GRN/RD,photo,i will try to find it ),,
Hello Eddie! Long time no see as they say.I've just joined Wigan World and was amazed to see your photo (Thomas's wall).I've never seen that one before and only just recognised myself!I've just put six photos on that you might be interested in.How are you doing nowadays?

oh and as bert says ,,where did you put those photos,,??
Hello again Geoff and Bert, lovely to have seen you both at the 'reunion',and hello again Eddie. Looking forward to seeing more L.G.Rd pics, or any of DG. Take care..
Hi Eddie Bert and Janet. It seems that I've messed up with the photos so have had another go!Yes it really was great to see people at the reunion and think back 50 years.Eddie's photo brought back so many memories about so many happy days. It's sad that we don't have even more photos of those times and places but we just weren't well off enough to have cameras and take pictures all the time.Hope you remembered me to Mary (Bert). Eddie do say hiya to your Pat and remind him of playing in the back gardens-cowboys and indians and Robin Hood and William Tell!
We did have so much fun didn't we? The Thomas's, Lomax's, Daly's, Keith Hurst and sometimes the Dunn girls. Playing all kinds of games, such as you mentioned Geoff, climbing trees, walks across the fields, bluebell woods, countless hours at Garswood rec, sat afternoon at the 'Palace' when we had the money..could go on and on..
