Peter, great map but are you sure about the location of The Big Lamp? It’s an establishment that I have not previously come across but names do occasionally change.
Looks like tram lines are on the roads, much room for thought.

Found your photo Ron and the name is on the Big Lamp over the entrance. The Golden Lion , not marked on the map, is the nice building still existing. There is none of the Ravens stonework showing.
Colin, Library Street came out of the Queens Head yard and the tramlines terminated as shown, only the Pemberton side had been laid. The date is 1889, In 1848 there was also the Bay Horse Yard and the Bears Paw Yard behind these three pubs.
