children around Hindley in the very early 1900s, not sure of which street this was but someone may be able to put a name to it by identifying the backdrop. Sorry about the quality but the pic is over 100 years old

I was amazed to see this - I was recently given an identical copy of the photo by my mother. There is a name on the back of the photograph which identifies one of the children as my great aunt - born 1903 in Mawdesly Street.
Would appreciate if you could let me know where Mawdesly Street is as unable to find this on any map
