hi peter it is kendal road in the background, do you think on the top of the roof it may be the busy bee chimney just left from the third chimney stack from the right

Im not sure the chimney would have been so tall
It looks like it could be just a chimney stack at the back of one of the houses

i remember the shop as ernies lovely couple he alway's asked hows yer dad.we got our first telly off john finch my dad and he were good friends and telly came with a draw full of valves.i remember mr & mrs hill they are on my mam & dad's wedding album & mrs featherstone,but i dont remember david bibby.

hi josie the old photos are the best they take you back to when we were little, people were more friendly then, and we made are games up, not like todays kids with their computers and game boys they have no sense of adventure.give my regards to alan
hi tony,i know what you mean, our grandkids have all that stuff and more and still think they'v got nowt ha you cant tell um what haveing nowt is, but we didnt really know that we had nowt coz we were too happy being happy stopping out all day makeing our own fun , our mams not in window every five mins seeing if they ok,i would love to be little again would you tony ?but it still be the same as then no mod cons ha.alan sends his regards x
Tony, what happend to carol hill I don't remember seeing her after the 1960s. David bibby lived in the third house down next to finches also near the bottom of the row a lad named James Adams mrs finch used to swap comics (really) with my brother..
tony carol hill is my sister she still lives belle green lane we lived at 184 and my grandma lived at 186 i remember all the fond memories of when we lived there they where happy days we didnt have anything but we were happy

Hello, I lived with Harold Hunt at 89 Belle Green Lane, it was later numbered 115, ( I think) the pub was just across the road, forget the name, I married Harolds daughter Sybil and we had a family. Bette Cunliffe lived in Chatam Street, just across the yard, Good memories, I wish I could go back in time and live there again, but c'est la vive
