Another photo taken at the front of the Crispin Arms pub around 1951. My sister Anne Bowen is on the left and the gentleman with his arms folded is I understand from "xxStuartxx" is Bob Reynolds. I don't know the names of the other two customers but that ice cream lolly looks good.

Oops! Sorry "xxStuartxx" on closer inspection my mistake - I was basing it on http://www.wiganworld.co.uk/album/photo.phpopt=4&id=7597&gallery=Birkett+Bank&offset=0 but I got it wrong - apologies.

He's taken my lolly!!
The man with the lolly is my grandad David Maiden who lived at 14 Birkett bank. He passed away in 1954. My mum Barbara who was 11 years old at the time has never seen this photo of her dad before. Thanks very much for posting this photo.

pretty sure thats my grandad with arms folded, bob anglesea! he worked at "heinz" if am not mistaken.
