Are those Gidlow Houses on the left?

those houses are on Wigan Road just after the Boar's Head pub heading north.

Any idea what year?
I'm still a bit confused as to orientation.

It was taken around the early 1970's. The flat roofed building on the right is the old Mere Oaks school. There has been lots of tree planting on this area so this view and has obscured.

The tarmac area on the left of the picture is the car park inside the gates of Gidlow cemetery, the view of this lane is obscured by a long line of poplar trees on the edge of the cemetery these days.

behind the tall trees centre is the back of the boars head.

The farm machinery is still where it is photographed, although there is a bit less of it left due to corrosion (2010).
