Is that Slow Joe's Cafe that looks as if it as been on fire?
Higher up was whalleys pet shop, reputed to contain in its cellar a Roman Arch.
I think Slow Joes was just up a bit to the left by another couple of shops.. Is that an Austin 1800 coming up the hill? if is is the this is about 1968/69
Looks like a Triumph 1300 Gerry, you could be right with the year.
Where was the Green Curtain? Was it just on the left?
Hi Bill, Green curtain further back on right as you look at picture, just outside photo.
Could anyone tell me where 19 Millgate is/was? My ancestors lived there from the 1840's through the 1880's (Flints and Liveseys). I'm in the States, so I can't easily check it out myself (I'd like to, though). Thanks!
