This picture is taken from the opening next to the sun-tanning shop on Poolstock Lane, nearly opposite the Bold Hotel.
From the left you can see the 'Outdoor', a house, Mear's shop, Peter Slater's shop,then two houses. The next row of houses has the Co-op at it's far end.

I remember the Harvey's vans- I did a stint as a Saturday bread lad in the 70s.
