Hi there Dougie, do you remember the last yard mine face in No 1 pit when we actually went under the "flamper" and worked the coal at 2ft 3ins?That's what you call low!!

Fred was doing my face training at the time loved reading your books by the way, looking back it was the best thing for me it closing, I got out of pit for good
