Anne Scargill seen being interviewed for the TV after her protest against pit closures.She and three other women staged a sit in at the pit bottom having sneaked in to the pit with a group of visitors,the protest lasted for four days.

We needed more people like Anne to fight against injustices,if more people had spoke up against pit closures and stopped it, this country would have been a lot better place, Anne a lot better person than Thatcher the Kiddies milk snatcher.
Remember taking Anne and the other girls around on a "Pit Visit" , didnt recognise who she was till we got back to pit bottom , Then had the honour of phoning John Watkings and telling him the good news! He wasnt a Happie Chappie at the time .
