Thanks for your comments i am pleased you like the pics.There will be many more to follow including some rare shots in colour and B&W of No 1 horizon and various scenes underground at Parkside.

Hi Graham, I remember you in our drivage team I was you friendly longhaired electrician. How are the Bog Hoppers doing? I still see some of the lads from time to time; quite a few at in fact are here at Heinz. Great photo's I remember carrying out the camera flash units out up the pit early cheers for that. Bloody heavy thou. Them belt parties we had on Fridays were good too. thou?

Hi Graham, yes Buck still here; Peter Davis, Ste Pennington,Bullet aka Stu Jones,Ste Mullaney oh yes there's coal dust everywhere mate at dinner breaks , Living now at Appley Bridge. Going to the reunion at Ashton this year, the first Thursday in March.

Ney phil! Still remember that day you sied not walkin out of er, ridin on belts we all walked "you and that born again fella" jumped off top of brew on the undermanager head cost im dear 25k forgot his name.

i worked the manrider regular noons with paul carney and vinny no legs mc kenna ie he was always on the engine happy days and fond memories ps thanks graham carr for the pics
