Another "blast from the past" given to me by my cousin Pat, whose father Jack, was Personnel manager at the slipper works in Campbell Street. Can anyone put names to faces? Iknow of at least 6. Billy Corless, Alan Kirk, Jackie Boyle, Jack Foster Jennie Foster and Pat Foster I think that the pic was taken in 1951 at the Spanish Hall in the Winter Gardens, Blackpool

Surprisin', how many people in Pembeton know of the "Slipper Works", but have no idea of the "Ross Works".
We've had this discussion before on here, thanks for agreeing with me about the correct name for the factory..;o)

I am Mr Lord's niece,my father was Dr G H Lord. We were at a dinner at the Wintergardens not sure what year? It did look like my father!
