I worked as a loco fitter at John Pit in 1957? They had about three of these 0-6-0 locos all named, On one of the locos the wheels needed repairing, and for this the loco was normally sent to Kirkless, however the wheels were too badly worn and we had to un-wheel it at John Pit, we had no overhead cranes, so we had to jack the whole loco up about five feet to get the wheels out.
