I remember Bert around this time , I think his job was getting the loco into steam ready for the next shifts he was part of a team of men that would see that the fire was made and that water was in the boiler ready for the fireman to be ready for his next shift, can anyone tell me who was the lanp man Brian
He probably knew my dad who was a driver, died 1953.
