John Lydon! he authorised my first passport photo! and worked with my Father Alex Lyons in the police
Is John Lydon the father of Joe Lydon of Wigan RLFC. There appears to be a resemblance.
Evelyn you are quite right. John is Joe's dad. We worked together many years on the old Borough Force.
I used to go swimming with Joe when we were both small!!
My late father Alfred Davies was a Police Officer at this time. The couple third from the right are Mr and Mrs Dick Humphreys
Does anyone know if John Lydon is still alivc? I believe he is my father's cousin.
No Mary, John died oh some while ago. His wife Nancy is I think because I last saw her a while ago in Asda. come to think of it, I've not seen her for a while ??
Sadly, John died in late April 1981. A gentleman.
