My name is Michael France and I was secretary of Triangle Valve "A" bowls team during the latter part of the 1970's. The photo was taken by the Lancs Evening Post for an article they were running on a game between Triangle Valve "A" and "B" teams.
Names are back row l to r:- Roy Oakes,David Pugh, George Tilbury, Jack Green,Dickie Davenport, Jimmy Whitton and Brian Rigby. Front row l to r Michael France, Tony Ashton, Bob Ratcliffe, Gordon Shaw and Les Wilkinson.

Thanks Michael as my dad couldn't remember everyones name, I used to love going to the christmas parties all lining up to see father christmas and to get your pressie.

I wonder if any of these lads worked there in 1961 when I was an apprentice. I had a mate called Tommy Aspey who lived nearby, wonder if he is related to you, Bob?

Was that Les worthington bottom right .now these lads could bowl .I played for Triangle Valve once against Heinz at one apiece i had him worried .But losted 21 2 great days indeed all the best to all .

I was a typist in your Office Mr. Aspey. I worked with Audrey Norburn - used to chase David Roberts. Lived in Australia for the past 40 od years.

The second from the left at the back is Dave Pugh, I'm sure of it. I never worked at the valve, but I do know Dave.
