It is some months since I viewed this photo and was pleasantly surprised to read your comment. Of course I remember you Paul. How could anyone forget!! We worked together for a while at Atherton branch in the mid eighties and then went our separate ways. Hope you are well!

Hello again Margaret, yes I am well & still working for the Bank (31 years this summer!!!)as is Barry Dainty, Ken Hill & Dave Gregory. We worked with Dave & Pat in Westhoughton with that Manager who was always drunk & had a draw full of listerene. Hope your well.

Hi Paul. I was surprised to hear that you are still in the Bank. I do remember working at Westhoughton with David, Martin Hall,Pat and yourself, not forgetting our manager who enjoyed a tipple or two during working hours.
Looking back, they were good days and we had many a good laugh. I'd like to bet it's not quite the same now!
Give my regards to Dave, Barry and my old mate Ken from our Ashton days. Best Wishes to you all.

Just visited the site after coming across an old Wigan Trustee Savings Bank money box. It belonged to my father in law Thomas Roughley (Don,t know if related to Paul Roughley in the comments) The box is fashioned in the shape of a small book approx 3"" x 4"" , green in colour with an opening for notes and cash. Would welcome comments. Nice to see the football team; anychance of a comeback??????????
