My Great Grandfather's brother CONSTABLE JAMES BIBBY worked with Wigan Police around this time. He was born 1864 in Pemberton.
What a great photograph. My Grandads uncle was in Wigan Borough Police at this time. His name is Isaac Warburton b.1883 at Warrington. I know he is in there somewhere but which one is he I wonder !

My great grandfather, Isaac Lloyd, was a police officer in Hindley,when he married Mary Elizabeth Eckersley, schoolmasters daughter at St Peters church in 1886.
