I wasn’t even aware of the existence of John Marrow’s engineering works until I was informed by Mr McAvoy.

What’s left of 1600 Robert may still reside there , but as the place is locked and unattended , it isn’t possible to ascertain with any degree of certainty at this juncture.

There is however what appears to be a complete 0-6-0 saddle tank loco on the yard .

This also is impossible to identify without gaining access to the premises .

The amazing thing is that I never even knew such a place existed within a few miles of my home .
