A few of the Ripponden & District pattern bodies taken from wagons that were scrapped at Edge Green . The lad wearing the overalls is Freddie Mason who came from Bryn opposite the Bath Springs originally , but now lives down south somewhere . Someone may remember him . This photo has appeared on here before by the way .

They were/are base at Downalgreen, Ashton.

Once more , the guy wearing the overalls is Freddie Mason , and just for the record they were based at King’s road garage , behind the Star pub on Wigan road Ashton , on Arthur Ormshaw’s old demolition salvage yard.
