Photo of my Grandfathers Shop in Ince showing my Grandfather Ben Sanderson and his young son my Uncle Norman. The Building is still there but much changed, only the stone plaque Alexandra House still remains

My mother in law's maiden name was Kay.She was brought up in Manchester Rd Ince.Which was a shop.No. 3?? Straight across the road from Cresta car spares.It is now a house.I will have a look at 185 next time I pass that way.Great photo John thank you.

I had to have a look on street view to find this shop and sure enough it's still there, it's now called Ince Convenience Store. It's now double fronted and situated on the left just before the traffic lights at Ince Bar.
Next door is the Polish shop??

Wow! What a great photo of your relatives.. My dad who is 96yrs wants to find one of his Great Grandads shop in 1880s.. it was a Ironmongers /Blacksmiths in Scholes..
