Crompton staff in York Road by Record Mill year unknown. The George Hanson badge came with the photo, I know George worked at Cromptons but I have no idea when he started there, he died in 1969.

I worked at cromps, was a tool maker 1965-80 none of these workers come to mind.

3rd from right is Harry Sutton. He lived next door to us 67 Spindle Hillock.
