Fantastic picture. Could the dog be a fox terrier and be the lucky butchers dog?
A startling photo Nick. Thanks. It must have been difficult for Ben and his men to have lifted and then hooked those beasts onto more than two sides of his shops, but what a C'mon he'd gave. I must say, though, there's something of the heebie-jeebies about this scene. In fact, I'm reminded of the time my friend and I had gone to see The Exorcist, at Liverpool, and how we'd become startled by the size of the cinema's restless queue. The queue had covered the building's front, side, and then some. A no-brainer, and after having a pint each - served by Alan Rudkin, in suit and tie - , instead, we high-tailed it out of town - having a second each, in The Stork, at Billinge, a while later. I like 'mushrooms with tooth' on platters wild.
That dog thinks he’s died and gone to doggie heaven.
