Went to it when it first opened in 1971! Associated Dairies (ASDA) from Leeds. Sold everything food and clothes!

Taken from the front of what was Millers Motorcycles. The leveled ground in the middle of the picture was once the showroom which had just been demolished by the digger arm on the right. Anyone know why Millers closed. Seemed to be doing alright at the time ?

Look at the place today, a monstrosity. The place looks more like an airport than a supermarket, far too many cars everywhere (how do people afford them?), miserable, rude shoppers with no manners (both young and old) pushing past you, buying what is likely rubbish GM food, CCTV cameras everywhere (I've never seen so many above every isle and checkout, you'd think you were visiting a prison).
