There'd be no smoking in my Bentley. Think your right about the 'chopper' fred. A bad design that kept Raleigh on the map for another 10 years.

Yes I expect it to be worth a fortune today, certainly not the thing one would normally see around Wigan. Certainly beats all the typical boy racer RS turbo rubbish that frequent the Wigan roads. According to the net it's a 1926 3 litre, believe to bein the states.
