Reg H806 YMA fleet number 67. The truck spent a few months on test at the Ashton in Makerfield depot.

On test, it looks like it's on delivery.
I don't remember this truck Colin give us some info Colin
D.C.
Yes On delivery Gary, how else would you test it.
Derrick, the Foden was one of many different type vehicle on test. Remember running cost "ie fuel" was and still is massive in the haulage business. The demonstration trucks was more are less given to Kwik Save at a reduced price, Kwik Save was still the largest operator of Daf trucks in the UK, so many truck manufactures would like a slice of that. The Foden was on demo at most Kwik Save depots up and down the country. Other HGVs on test around that time was Volvo, Mercedes, M.A.N, Renault and so on. But I think Kwik Save as a group still favored the Dafs, especially the 75-330 mid range truck launched in 1992. But as we know, all that changed in 1995. Cheers Derrick.
The were a Hino and AWD trucks on demo aswell?
