Don't know what year this was taken just that it was taken at the gates of Golborne pit, the wagons were shunted behind our house at Edge Green then taken to the main line.

it must have been took in the 70s as they took down the screens & chimney in the late 70s .

Fred Larner used to drive the trains in the pit yard and to the main line, dose anyone know him.

Alan, I got this photo off Fred Larner who used to drive the trains in and around the pit yard, I borrowed the photo with the other 3 you can see on this page and to scan them for this site he said would be ok, Sadly Fred passed away last year.
