Wigan girls working at Lavereys biscuits, Burscough. Left to right Rose Jennings nee Tymon, Kitty Kelly, does anyone know the other two girls?

Was it this biscuit factory that later became Burton's biscuits.

This picture was taken around 1940,I think Lavereys became Elkes and Fox later but dont know about Burtons

Elkes certainly had a factory in Burscough at one time, 40 odd years ago and more.

On checking, this would be Lavereys cake factory, Elkes biscuits was next door. I believe both factories were taken over by Westfields around 1972
