This was The old landsale yard their used to be a weigh
bridge the first building on right all the foreign coal used
to be weighed here then it went up the ramp and tipped in
the foreign coal bunker where it went to the washing plant.
All the slurry was loaded into railway wagons and left to
drain off in this yard when dry it went to Parsonage and
Bedford colliery boilers it also went to Carrington Power
Station this yard was a very busy place
