Bus is Fleet No. 34, and is displaying Route No.25.

The 25 was Beech Hill via Frog lane/Springfield

I think you will find that then 34 was the feet number. The Number 25 on the front is the route number. The route went down New Market Street, Frog Lane, the bottom part of Woodhouse Lane and then up Springfield Road to Beech Hill Lane where it turned left and then right and eventually onto Acacia Crescent where it turned round at Bluebell Avenue. Remember it well in the early 70'd as I Used to catch it on my work at half five in the morning.

It is the number of the bus not the route number
