Am I right in thinking that this was one of the first batch of new buses to be brought into service by Wigan Corporation post WWII?

A view of Wigan that did not much look different till the 70s when Hope street church was demolished, it is unrecognisable now!

its JP 5507 FIRST PD1 S where JP 5500 on SECOND BATCH WAS JP 6000 on 75 in total
