Ron, I have an idea that the steeple showing is the Steeple of St Mary's Church, Spring View. The house below it, will be where the railwaymen stayed over night. That would make the street, Morris Street. I believe most of the other houses in the street, were occupied by railway employees.

IF YOU LOOK ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE TOP YOU CAN SEE THE OLD HALL PUB SO THE ENGINE IS ON THE CRACK LINE WAITING TO GO TO THE SCAP YARD AT INCE WAGON WORKS
The building on the extreme left is the hotel. It was once named "The Old Hall", or "Thowd Haw", which ever you prefer.
springs branch had 6 0f these locos four went to woodham bros barry and eventually three where presered no's 77/79/84.two where scrapped in Newport s.wales and one at woodhams in barry s.wales
