Lancashire United had 35 Plaxton bodied Leyland Leopards new in 1975/76, 430-464 JDK921-925P, LTE486-495P, MTE13-32R. 430-431 long dual door, and 432-434 short single door, allocated at Swinton. The rest, 435-464 were long single door. 451-458 were also at Swinton. Atherton had 435-442, 459-461, and Hindley 443-450, 462-464. All would have come to Wigan, those from Hindley being the most frequent, Atherton and Swinton, less so. Some survived until the mid 1990s being repainted orange after Greater Manchester Transport and GM Buses.
