I was wondering if Trevor Dallimore, had a couple of relations, named Dallimore, that worked at the Maypole Colliery, in the late forties, early fifties. I believe one, or maybe both, were electricians.
I would lay odds that Trevor definitely had some relations called Dallimore :D
i,m not sure about maypole , but his brother called colin worked at golborne as an electrican & died in the disaster .
Whups. If my memory serves me right, the name Cliff Dallimore rings a bell.

Colin Dalimore was in my class at school,he was one of the best, last time I spoke to Colin was in pit yard at parsonage,he said he was trying for position of assistant electrical engineer.
yes he was a nice lad was colin .dont know about cliff dallimore though.

My dad was Clifford Dalllimore (electrical engineer) who worked at Maypole Colliery in the 1950's and was unfortunately electrocuted there on 6th May 1955.
