Ron, unlike some municipal fleets, you very rarely, if ever, saw a Wigan Corporation bus in a scruffy stste.

Ron. Wigan Corporation was renowned for it's buses maintainance and having been one of the first towns to change entirely from trams to buses in a reletavely short time

Forgot to mention note the single deck Bus this was the first O M O Bus in Wigan also note on the right the Trolley Bus en route to preservation
