well before my time this piccy and the steamer is on the up fast . looks like there pulling down the old station canopys on both platforms .

I wonder if this steam loco is a special as the old Wigan North Western was not demolished till the early 70s.

44711 was withdrawn from service at edge hill liverpoll 31/05/1968,and scrapped at wards killamarsh near Sheffield 31/07/1968.,so pic is pre spring 1968

This is a part fittec goods probley going to ince moss yard which was operional in the 60s
