Don't know much about trains but this is taken from a collection of slides I got from a House Clearance There were hundreds of slides of trains and buses I'll be putting them on the site in the future, when I can determine which ones relate to the Wigan Area.

These units was first built around 2004/2005.

And the bridge is relatively new, late 90's maybe.

Unit in its original livery working the (then) one a day Birmingham-Preston service off Wigan at around 17.00-18.00.
Date - sometime around 2007/8. Cannot be training for Man Airport services, these units all in LM livery for several years now.
