The company won the Queen's Award for Export Achievement in 1989. I think the Princess Royal presented the award.

I worked at Ingersoll Rand 1969 for 5 years, first as secretary to John Firth then Maurice McLoughlin. friends there in the other offices. anyone there remember me?

hi there - lovely to hear from you Christine - loved that beetle but changed it so husband(to be at that stage) could have a van and became my chauffeur! how are you doing? you retired as well now?
